Below are the questions Burlington customers ask us most. If yours isn't here, call or text us anytime — we're happy to help.
Pricing is based on how much space your items take up in our truck, not by the hour or by item count. Most Burlington jobs fall between $80 for a small single-item pickup and $750+ for a full truckload. You get a firm, all-in price before we load anything — that price includes labour, loading, disposal fees, and cleanup. No surprise charges after the fact.
Yes, in most cases. Burlington is about 20 minutes from our base, so we can usually get to you the same day. Next-day is almost always available. Call or send a photo of your pile to 289-456-8076 and we'll tell you right away whether we can fit you in today.
All of Burlington, from Aldershot and Tyandaga in the west through downtown and Roseland, out to Millcroft, Headon Forest, The Orchard, Alton Village, and Elizabeth Gardens near the Oakville border. We also cover Brant Hills, Mountainside, Longmoor, and Palmer. If you're inside city limits, we'll come to you.
Not necessarily. If the items are accessible — driveway, garage, backyard, or side of the house — we can confirm the price from photos, do the pickup while you're at work, and send you a payment link when it's done. For interior cleanouts or anything where we need to decide what stays and what goes, someone should be on site.
Yes to all three. Mattresses and box springs go to a recycler that separates the foam, fabric, and springs rather than landfilling them. Fridges, freezers, and air conditioners are routed to a facility that removes the refrigerant properly, as required in Ontario. Hot tubs we cut down on site and haul out — no crane, no fence removal in most cases.
We can't take hazardous materials: paint, solvents, motor oil, gasoline, propane tanks, pesticides, or automotive chemicals. Those go to the Household Hazardous Waste Depot at the Halton Waste Management Site, 5400 Regional Road 25 in Milton, open Monday to Saturday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. We also can't handle asbestos, medical or biohazard waste, or ammunition. Everything else, ask us.
Sometimes, for small amounts. Burlington's curbside pickup runs through Halton Region, and you're limited to three eligible bulk items per scheduled bulk collection date, with metal appliances requiring a separate appointment. That works fine for a couple of chairs. It doesn't work for a basement cleanout, a mattress plus a box spring plus a dresser, or anything on a timeline — and it doesn't cover renovation debris at all. If you're over the limit, waiting weeks for the next collection date, or dealing with items the Region won't take curbside, that's where we come in.
Yes. We handle condo and apartment cleanouts throughout Burlington, including the downtown and Lakeshore buildings. Most property managers ask us to book the service elevator and provide a certificate of insurance before the job — give us a day or two of notice and we'll arrange both with your building.
